48 Hours: Milan, Italy

Milan is one of the world’s most loved cities and it is known for several international events and fairs, including Milan Fashion Week and Milan Furniture Fair, the largest of its kind in the world. With plenty of things to do from sightseeing, to fine dining, to designer shopping and with the most famous Italian fashion brands, such as Valentino, Gucci, Versace, Prada, Armani and Dolce & Gabbana are headquartered in the city.

You begin to understand why people fall in love with this beautiful city, and in 48 hours I too fell in love, with iconic venues such as the Piazza Duomo, Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, and my favorite hotel, Milan’s landmark; Principe di Savoia, home to celebrities like Madonna, David Beckham, George Clooney and past greats such as Aristotle Onassis and Josephine Baker.
